How long has your company been in business? We celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2006. And how did it start? I got my start in the industry by enrolling in the American School of Diamond Cutting in Whittier, CA to become trained as a Master Diamond Cutter. After graduating the three-year curriculum, I then attended GIA. Within several years of establishing my cutting factory, I began importing diamonds from Israel and Belgium. Some years after that, I started creating finished pieces around the rarest diamonds in my inventory as a hobby. I found that my ability to sketch and my attention to detail, from diamond cutting, were helpful in jewelry design. What is the reason that you use high purity Platinum in your designs? |

What is your inspiration for new designs and who is responsible for them?
My inspiration stems from my desire to capture the inner beauty of the gemstones as if they were a living being. I design around their unique beauty and use my appreciation of old world architecture to provide elements that I feel have a classic and timeless quality. My appreciation of history is reflected in the work that I do, as it is important to me that each creation is designed to be a family heirloom. Having said this, I also believe that jewelry should be worn and appreciated on a daily basis. The finished look is one that is described by collectors as, "old and new", or as we have coined it, "new vintage".
How many different designs does your line feature?
As each piece is a one-of-a-kind, the collection encompasses thousands of designs at this point in time.
Aside from your great reputation in the industry, are there any awards, honors or accolades have been bestowed on you or your company?
I was inducted into the GIA League of Honor in 2004, as well as had the Beaudry Flame Ring selected as Robb Report's Best of the Best in 2005.
