Actress Jennifer Morrison donned a pair of platinum and ruby earrings at the recent "Taste for a Cure" charity event in Los Angeles.
The starlet, who plays Allison Cameron on the TV show House, teamed the platinum baubles with a large cocktail ring made of platinum and rubies.
Her jewelry was designed by Neil Lane, who was once described by Madonna as "one of the most innovative jewelry designers in the world," ezinearticles.com has reported.
According to the website, Mr Lane's jewelry "does not come cheap" and those interested in buying one of his pieces at his Saks Fifth Avenue location can expect to pay from $8,500 for a set of platinum and five-carat diamond hoops and for a 25-carat diamond ring, jewelry lovers will have to stump up $200,000.
The fundraiser that Ms Morrison attended is the (13th) annual event of its type hosted by the The Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation at UCLA, which dedicates its work to finding a cure for diabetes.
